I supply and professionally install only Police and Insurer Approved KeySafes:
WHY HAVE A KEYSAFE?
KeySafes are an integral part of many care plans, and often Social Services and the NHS will not allow patients to return home from hospital unless a Keysafe has first been installed at home. This is in order to facilitate Carers to securely attend the patient’s home. KeySafes facilitate recovery or palliative care at home and also allow for family, friends, neighbours, carers, cleaners, or tradespeople who are chosen to have the Keysafe code to access the property where a physical or mental disability exists, and access might otherwise be delayed or denied. KeySafes are often needed by those going for a run to prevent key loss, and those who would prefer their children not to lose house keys at school, and for those with holiday lets and require secure access for their guests.
I started professionally installing KeySafes in February 2012, after more than 10 years of frontline emergency response work, seeing far too many doors and windows being damaged to gain entry where elderly people had fallen behind locked doors. This inevitably meant large financial costs to effect repairs afterwards for the home owner, but much more importantly a delay in the elderly occupant receiving much needed medical treatment.
In some cases it was just too late. If a KeySafe had been installed with someone trustworthy who knew the code and entry was gained much sooner, Paramedics could have treated the fallen patient much quicker, and in some cases lives might have been saved.
I have seen the huge peace of mind given to many elderly vulnerable people (including my own elderly parents) by having a KeySafe professionally installed safe in the knowledge that in the event of a fall at home, people with the code including emergency services can gain entry straight away by accessing a door key via the coded KeySafe.
The Supra C500 and Burton Keyguard XL KeySafes are both versatile, safe and very secure, Police and Home Insurer Approved, “Secured By Design” and provides peace of mind and great value for Carers and those being cared for.
Customers select their own memorable code (typically between 5 to 7 digits, but your chosen code can be any number of digits from 0-9 and/or A and/or B). Customers can change their chosen code themselves, very easily, as often as they wish. Your chosen code can only use each number or letter once, and to keep its Secured By Design accreditation these KeySafes must be installed directly onto brickwork and not into plasterboard.
Supplied FREE OF CHARGE with the Supra C500 Keysafe is the Tamperproof Internal Code Cover Pack – a metal plate secured by Tamperproof Torx T10 Screw (Driver Bit supplied) to prevent KeySafe users from changing your chosen code.
The code you choose can also optionally be notified to Norfolk Constabulary via registration with the Norfolk Police Keyholder Register (£13 per year for domestic premises and £25 for commercial premises) and/or with the local Council or privately run Community (Pendant) Alarm Schemes. I can assist customers to register with these schemes and provides forms for the customer to fill in if required. Huge peace of mind at low cost.
I can also remove old, unused or damaged KeySafes from your home FREE OF CHARGE if you are having a new KeySafe installed. That may include the forced opening/angle grinding of a damaged KeySafe to retrieve keys inside. If you only wish to have an old KeySafe removed without buying a new KeySafe, then just let me know, then the price will only be the installation cost of £58 only.
Be prepared – have a KeySafe installed at your home, or at the home of a friend or relative who really needs one. Don’t delay and wish you’d acted sooner! Make a Supra C500 or a Burton Keyguard XL KeySafe a vital part of your home care plan!
